ROLES ("the App") is an educational and conversational tool created to help a parent or guardian start conversations with their child. It is not therapy, counseling, psychological or psychiatric care, medical advice, educational diagnosis, or professional advice of any kind, and it is not a substitute for any of those things.
Melniverse Manners Management LLC ("MMMT," "we," "I") makes no representation, warranty, promise, or guarantee of any particular result, outcome, benefit, or improvement from using the App or any accompanying materials. This includes, without limitation, any improvement in communication, behavior, emotional wellbeing, family closeness, academic performance, or any other outcome.
Any testimonial, review, example, story, or result shared by us or by others is that individual's own experience and is not a promise or typical result. Your experience may differ entirely.
The App does nothing on its own. Any benefit depends entirely on the consistent, good-faith effort and participation of both the parent and the child, as well as many circumstances beyond our knowledge or control, including each family's unique history, personalities, and needs. You accept full responsibility for how you choose to use the App and for the conversations you have with your child.
Do not use the App as a response to a mental-health crisis, abuse, self-harm, or any emergency. If you or your child are struggling, please contact a licensed professional immediately. In the United States you can call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) at any time, or dial 911 in an emergency.
You know your child. Some questions or activities may not suit your child's age, temperament, history, or circumstances. You are solely responsible for deciding what is appropriate for your family and for supervising all activities. Some activities involve physical movement, household items, cooking, or going outside — you are responsible for safety at all times.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MMMT, its owner, and its independent contractors and service providers are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the App or materials. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid.
These Terms are between you ("you," "the purchaser") and Melniverse Manners Management LLC ("MMMT"), an Ohio limited liability company. By purchasing or using the App, you agree to these Terms, the Disclaimer, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund Policy.
You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of any child with whom you use the App. The App is designed to be purchased, operated, and supervised by an adult. Children do not create accounts, register, or submit information to us.
You are purchasing a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the ROLES web application for your own family, along with any bonus materials offered at the time of purchase. You receive a unique access code, delivered by email — typically immediately and no later than 48 hours after purchase.
Bonus materials (such as the activity guide, printable sheets, and community access) are provided free as part of a current promotion. They may be modified, substituted, or discontinued at any time without notice, and no part of your purchase price is allocated to them.
Your access code may be locked to the first device that uses it. Sharing or abusing codes may result in access being revoked without refund.
All content — the questions, coaching text, activities, written materials, design, code, the ROLES name, and the MMMT name and marks — is owned by MMMT and protected by law. Your purchase grants access, not ownership.
We aim to keep the App available and working, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Because the App stores your data in your own browser, you are solely responsible for that data, including backing up anything you want to keep. Clearing your browser data, switching devices, or using private browsing may erase your saved history permanently. We cannot recover it, because we never had it.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MMMT's total liability for any claim relating to the App or materials is limited to the amount you actually paid. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost data.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MMMT, its owner, and its independent contractors and service providers from any claim, loss, or expense arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your conduct with your child.
MMMT is the sole party to this agreement and the sole owner and operator of the App. Any third party who promotes, markets, or advertises ROLES — including marketing affiliates and independent contractors — does so as an independent business providing marketing services. No partnership, joint venture, agency, employment, or fiduciary relationship exists between MMMT and any such party.
No such party has authority to bind MMMT, to incur obligations in MMMT's name, to sign on MMMT's behalf, or to represent that they hold any ownership or equity in MMMT or ROLES. Any representation, promise, or guarantee made by a third party that is not contained in these published terms is unauthorized and does not bind MMMT. These published terms are the complete agreement between you and MMMT and supersede anything you may have been told elsewhere.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Ohio, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect.

Your purchase is made solely from and your contract is solely with Melniverse Manners Management LLC ("MMMT"), an Ohio limited liability company. MMMT is the sole owner and operator of the ROLES application and the sole merchant of record for every transaction. Payment is processed through MMMT's own Stripe account. No other person or entity is a party to your purchase.
ROLES may be promoted, marketed, or advertised by independent third parties, including Mentoring With The Mentees, marketing affiliates, and other independent contractors. These parties provide marketing and promotional services only.
Any compensation paid to such a party — including any revenue-based compensation — is contractual consideration for marketing services rendered. It is not a distribution of profits, a share of the business, a dividend, or an ownership interest of any kind.
Nothing in these policies, in any promotional material, or in any relationship between MMMT and any promoter creates a partnership, joint venture, agency, employment, franchise, or fiduciary relationship between MMMT and that party. Each party is an independent business, operating separately, maintaining its own books and records, filing its own taxes, and bearing its own business expenses. No common enterprise exists, no party contributes capital to any shared venture, and no joint or partnership tax return is filed by any party.
No promoter, affiliate, contractor, or other third party has any authority to act for MMMT. Specifically, no such party may:
Any statement, promise, guarantee, or representation made by any third party that goes beyond the published terms on this page is made solely by that party and is not authorized by, binding on, or attributable to MMMT. If someone tells you something about ROLES that contradicts what you read here, what you read here governs.
Where the word "partner," "partnership," or similar language appears anywhere in MMMT's marketing, it is used in its ordinary promotional sense to describe a working collaboration or a distribution relationship. It is never intended to denote, and does not create, a legal partnership, joint venture, agency, or any shared ownership.
Some individuals who promote ROLES earn a commission on referred sales. Any such person is required to disclose that relationship in their promotional content, as required by the FTC. Their commission does not change your price, and it does not make them a representative of MMMT.
Because your contract is solely with MMMT, all support, access issues, and questions should be directed to MMMT at roles.support@mmmtraining.org — not to any promoter or affiliate.
The ROLES app stores everything on your own device. I never see, receive, or store your conversations or your child's answers. The only places information is collected are the payment checkout (handled by Stripe) and the optional feedback form (hosted by Google) — both are explained below.
The ROLES app runs entirely in your browser and saves data using browser localStorage — a storage area on your own device. This includes your children's names and ages, saved answers, notes, session history, and streaks.
This data is never transmitted to me, to any server, or to any third party. As the owner and developer, I have zero visibility: I do not see, track, collect, store, or have any means of accessing your answers, conversations, or any content you enter into the App. It stays on your device unless you delete it.
Because this data lives only in your browser, clearing your browsing data, uninstalling your browser, using private/incognito mode, or switching devices will permanently erase it. I cannot recover it, because I never had a copy.
Payments are processed by Stripe. I do not collect, see, or store your full payment card details. To process your purchase and prevent fraud, Stripe collects information such as your name, email address, billing details, payment method information, and technical data including your IP address, device and browser details, and activity on the checkout page — and Stripe may collect some of this even if you begin checkout without completing a purchase.
Stripe handles this information under its own privacy policy, which I encourage you to read at stripe.com/privacy. I receive from Stripe only what I need to fulfill your order and keep business records — typically your name, email address, and confirmation of the transaction — which I use to send your access code and to provide support.
If you provide a phone number and opt in to text messages, I use it only to send the customer-service and marketing messages described in the Communications & Text Messaging policy. Providing a phone number and opting in are entirely optional and are never required to purchase. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. I do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their marketing.
The App includes a link to an optional feedback form. Clicking it takes you off the App to a form hosted by Google. You are never required to use it.
If you choose to complete it, it may collect your contact information, the age ranges of the children you're using the App with, your rating of your experience, and whether you'd like to hear about other services we offer. Google may also collect technical information under its own privacy policy. I use responses to improve the App and, where you've indicated interest, to tell you about other offerings.
The App and this page are served as static files by a web host. Like virtually all web hosting, the host may automatically log standard technical request data (such as IP addresses) for security and operational purposes. I do not use analytics tools, advertising trackers, or third-party cookies on this site, and I do not build profiles of visitors.
ROLES is sold to and operated by adults. Children do not register, create accounts, or submit personal information to me. Any information a child shares during a conversation is entered by the parent (if at all) and stored only on the parent's own device, where I have no access to it. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
I do not sell your personal information.
Melniverse Manners Management LLC (MMMT) is the sole controller of any customer information described in this policy. The Stripe account, the customer records, and all customer-facing infrastructure belong solely to MMMT.
No promoter, affiliate, marketing partner, or other third party has access to your personal information, your purchase records, or your customer data. Parties who promote ROLES — including affiliates and independent marketing contractors — are compensated for marketing services and receive only aggregate information about how many sales resulted from their referral link. They do not receive your name, email address, payment information, or any other personal detail, and they have no right to market to you based on your purchase.
You can delete the App's data at any time by clearing your browser's site data. To ask what purchase information I hold, to correct it, to request deletion, or to unsubscribe from emails, contact me at roles.support@mmmtraining.org. Some records must be retained for legal and tax purposes.

When you purchase, we use the email address you provide to send your access code, order confirmation, and any customer-service or technical-support replies. We may also send you occasional emails about other offerings; you can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link, and that will not affect service or support emails you need.

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Message frequency varies. MMMT is not responsible for charges from your carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing. Your number is used only to send the messages described above. Standard privacy protections in our Privacy Policy apply.
We are a small team. We aim to respond to and resolve customer-service and technical-support requests within 24 to 72 hours of submission, whether you reach us by email or text.
ROLES is digital access, delivered as an access code immediately upon purchase (and no later than 48 hours). Because access and bonus materials are delivered instantly and cannot be returned, all sales are final and no refunds, returns, exchanges, credits, or cancellations are offered for any reason.

We are a small team and aim to respond to and resolve support requests within 24 to 72 hours of submission. My commitment is that you receive functioning access to the App and the bonus materials. That is the entirety of what is promised.
Because this policy is presented before purchase and you must affirmatively agree to it, initiating a chargeback rather than contacting me first is a violation of these terms. Please reach out — I'd much rather fix a problem than fight about one.
